INNOVATION SHOWCASE OpportUNIty S.A. is a joint initiative between the three South Australian Technology Transfer Offices and their respective Universities. The Showcase will provide attendees with an overview of the latest in research thinking, as well as the opportunity to network and explore collaboration possibilities. Researchers from Flinders University, the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia will come together to present their ideas, capabilities and technologies to the innovation community in South Australia, and demonstrate how they can provide practical solutions to real business and industry challenges. The event will be moderated by RiAus Director, Dr Paul Willis, who is probably best known for his 14 year career as a science broadcaster with the ABC. Key insights will be provided by a number of innovation leaders, including serial inventor Ric Richardson, a technologist and independent inventor whose first patented invention was one of the foundation technologies (1992) used in software activation, and Mr Peter Roberts, a leading editor and writer on business and management in the fields of innovation, manufacturing and government policy.
